BOCES Consortium for Continuing Education currently holds the approved DMV NYS pre-licensing 5 hour course at the following locations most Saturday’s from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rome YMCA, 301 W. Bloomfield St., Rome, and the Oneida Rec Center, 217 Cedar St., Oneida. Class is also held the first Thursday of every month from January to June 2019 from 4-9 p.m. at Hamilton High School, 24 W. Kendrick Ave., Hamilton. The cost is currently $50, payable by cash or check to MadisonOne­ida BOCES. You must have a valid picture Learner’s Permit in order to attend. Stockbridg­e town board meetings

Stockbridg­e — The town of Stockbridg­e Town Board will hold their regular monthly board meetings on the first Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m., with the exception of September, which will be held on the second Monday of the month. An additional meeting will be held the end of December. The board meetings are held at the municipal building, located at Carlon Field, 5314 N. Main St., Munnsville.

Caregiver support group offered

Canastota — Madison County Office for the Aging will hold Caregivers & Coffee for persons caring for someone with Alzheimer disease, dementia and other forms of memory impairment, on the first Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. and the third Thursday of each month at 9 a.m. The free sessions will be held at Office for the Aging, 138 Dominic Bruno Blvd. Respite will be provided at no cost to allow caregivers to attend.
