Wednesday, Mar 3 Scores Girls Basketball Oneida 49, Vernon-veronasherrill 43
The ladies basketball team avenged their loss to VVS on senior night with a win over the Red Devils. Sydney Lusher led the charge with a massive doubledouble, netting 22 PTS and grabbing 11 REB. Anna Rossi led the Red Devils with 18 PTS in the loss.
Sherburne-earlville 38, Canastota 34
The Raiders fall short against Sherburne in a close, hard-fought game.
Boys Basketball Sherburne-earlville 48, Canastota 46
The Raiders fell short in a close
game against Sherburneearlville. Nate Wood had a double-double with 17 PTS and 10 REB, and Clay Roberts also netted 17 PTS in the loss.
Hamilton 77, Morrisville 45
Hamilton was able to pick up the win after dropping a game to Deruyter. A rough 3rd quarter caused Morrisville to fall into a hole that they could climb out of. Sami Cigeroglu dropped 18 PTS, 12 REB, and 8 BLK in the win, while Logan Hosler dropped 21 PTS and 6 REB for Morrisville in the loss.
Vernon-verona-sherrill 54, Oneida 43
After defeating them earlier in the year, Oneida, this time, falls to its rival VVS. Matt Hicks scored 14 PTS, leading the charge against Oneida.
Deruyter 77, Madison 61
Due to a rough 1st quarter,
Madison couldn’t get over the hump and takedown Deruyter. Benjamin Barns and Gavin Richardson dominated for Deruyter as they dropped 24 and 29 PTS, respectively.
Girls Volleyball Oneida 3, Camden 2
Oneida was able to take down Camden in the full 5 sets.
Thursday, Mar 4 Scores Girls Basketball Vernon-verona-sherrill 57, Camden 28
VVS had a great comeback win after losing to Oneida as they had a huge 29 point win.
Morrisville-eaton 17, Hamilton 65
Morrisville was not able to get anything going against Hamilton as the Emerald Knights played lockdown defense. Lindsey Speer led Hamilton in the win with 19 PTS, aided by Reagan Hope how had 13 PTS.
Boys Basketball Morrisville 50, Madison 52
Logan Hosler had another excellent game for Morrisville despite another loss, dropping 17 PTS and 8 REB.
Chittenango 52, Cazenovia 48
The Bears take another hard-fought, close game from Cazenovia.
Friday, Mar 5 Scores Girls Basketball Morrisville-eaton 34, Madison 51
Morrisville fell short once again, this time against the Blue Devils of Madison. Maryellen Coleman had a massive performance in the win as she dropped 25 PTS and grabbed 16 REB.
Camden 29, Vernonverona-sherrill 57
The rematch also went to VVS with another massive win against Camden.
Cazenovia 38, Chittenango 33
The Lakers were able to pull out a win against the
Bears, with Carleigh Szalach dropping 19 PTS in the win. Emily Moon and Sarah Lanphear both dropped 11 points in the loss.
Boys Basketball Hamilton 62, Canastota 27
Canastota was not up for the challenge against Hamilton. Two Emerald Knights achieved a double-double in the win, Ryan Rutledge with 20 PTS and 12 REB, and Sami Cigeroglu with 15 PTS and 11 REB.
Girls Volleyball Oneida 3, Camden 1
The Oneida girls volleyball team was able to take down Camden in the rematch from their last game and celebrate its hard-working seniors. Congratulations to Zoey Fox, Kalyn Badgley, Jill Ward for all the work you have done, and good luck with your future endeavors.

The Bears boys volleyball was able to pick up the win in a 3-0 sweep of Canastota.
