School District Foundation announces 2021 Wall of Distinction inductees
ONEIDA, N.Y. >> The Oneida City School District Foundation (OCSDF) is pleased to announce the 2021 induction class for the Wall of Distinction.
Frank Perretta, OHS Class of 1961 Perretta is a former teacher, secondary school principal for the Clinton School District, and has served as a college administrator at MVCC and Utica College. His educational career spanned from 1966-2004.
Anne Gardulski, PH.D, OHS Class of 1973 Dr. Gardulski is a renowned geologist and currently is the Chair of the Earth and Ocean Sciences Department at Tufts University.
Erik Blowers, OHS Class of 1983 Among Blowers’ career titles are lawyer, former Special Agent in the FBI, and Chief Division Counsel for FBI in North Carolina. He is the founder and a current member of the IFW Law Group which represents injured federal workers before the U.S. Department of Labor.
Donald Hudson, OHS Class of 1974 (posthumously honored) Don Hudson’s professional life centered around “service above self.” Prior to his untimely passing, Hudson had served the City of Oneida both as its fire chief and later, its mayor.
Eric “Rick” Moyer, OHS Class of 1957 Moyer retired after 35 years as an award-winning, nationally recognized wrestling coach and Athletic Director at Wayland High School in Massachusetts. His career coaching record (458-56-5) is 4th on the all time national victory list as of his retirement in 1997.
David T. Clancy, OCSD Elementary Principal, 1960-1991 (posthumously honored) Clancy was a former OCSD building principal who served as the administrator of the Washington Avenue, Seneca Street, and Oneida Castle Elementary schools during his 31-year career. He was also very active in many community service organizations where he held key leadership positions.
The 2021 Wall of Distinction Induction Dinner is scheduled for Saturday, September 25, beginning at 6 p.m. The venue is Theodore’s Restaurant on Rt. 5 in Canastota. Currently, there are no restrictions in place for attendance; however, this may be modified as safety and health recommendations may be subject to change.

The OCSD Foundation is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to preserve and promote school spirit within the district, accrue funds for approved classroom projects beyond the scope of the general budget, and award annual scholarships for graduating seniors.
