Glorious Ghost shows Rolls Royce luxury
Now is the time and this is the car.
Witnessed by most only in movies or Grammy award TV airings, a Rolls Royce is the commuting way for the rich and famous. Mostly noted in the movie “Richie Rich,” a long, stout and luxurious Rolls Royce is the vehicle of choice, with its easily recognized grille for the fictional movie starring Macauley Culkin. But in this week’s Grasso’s Garage review, the star is me! Although a top tier vehicle, this car is mostly meant to be driven in, yes, by that of a chauffeur; but for me this week, I will happily be the driver!
A 2021 Rolls Royce Ghost in stunning Iguazu Blue and twotone contrasting Silver shows the way to be an unbelievable automobile. Not only does the Ghost literally turn the heads of all onlookers and passing cars, it’s the notion of finding a parking spot to eliminate potential damage is first priority.
The powertrain is the biggest I have witnessed to date as its 6.75-liter Twin-turbocharged V12 engine is superb in all qualities.
The engine has no problem moving the almost 5,500 pound vehicle and is smooth and quiet. With over 563 horsepower and 627 lb.-ft. of torque, the Ghost gets up to travelling speeds quickly and sleekly. Chrome plated exhausts were also visible for an additional $5,400.
The interior is where it all happens. Starting with the lambswool foot mats that are softer than 1,000 count bed sheets. Navy Blue interior seats and fine leather paired with Cashmere Grey and Grace White accents, the Ghost is so comforting and smooth. An Illuminated roof with star-like accents were also present and lit up the interior casually duplicating a night’s sky.
Riding on 21” twin-spoke fully polished wheels, the Rolls Royce was a showstopper. Its exquisite design and Ghost additions were flawless for the all-wheel drive cruiser, while laser headlights and LED parking lights were standard. We noticed rear picnic tables in the Ghost which were monogrammed and fully functional for working while being a passenger in the rear of the vehicle. Legroom, comfort and style were top notch as riders certainly enjoyed the rare opportunity.
When it comes to the rich and famous, there is only one option and that is Rolls Royce. The Ghost is a stand up option for consumers to enjoy what the epitome of luxury stands for as Rolls Royce defines it exceptionally. Produced in Chichester, Great Britain, we certainly understand now why athletes near and far always have one in their stable.
