CAROL A. COY

ONEIDA- Carol A. Coy, 63, of Almond Street, passed away on September 14, 2021, in Oneida Health where she had been a patient for the past Àve days. Born in Oneida on September 3, 1958, she was the daughter of Lester and Arlene Salisbury Mills. A lifelong resident of Oneida, Carol was educated in Oneida High School. She married John R. Coy Sr. in Verona on

July 1, 1977.

Carol was an avid reader of true crime books. She loved camping and shopping with her sister. Carol always looked forward to and loved spending time with her family no matter how big or small the celebration was. She was of the Presbyterian faith. Surviving besides her husband John are: one daughter, Heather (Timothy) Waterman of Oneida; one son, John (Nicole) Coy of Oneida; Àve grandchildren, Raeann, Emma, Rachal, Evan and Ryan; two sisters, Mary Jane (Donald) Lanz and Jeanette (Robert) Lenaghen, both of Oneida; one brother, Donald (Terri) Mills of Canastota: and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Jack Mills, Jennifer Hodges, Sandy Hebbard and Dennis Mills.

Graveside services will be held in Oneida Castle Cemetery at a date and time to be announced. Arrangements are under the direction of the Campbell-dean Funeral Home, Inc, 260 Main Street, Oneida. In lieu of Áowers, contributions may be to the Mary Rose Clinic, 1081 Northside Shopping Center, Oneida, NY 13421.
