STOCKBRIDGE, N.Y. » Fred Marshall's name will not appear on the ballot for Town of Stockbridge Councilor. However, he's encouraging write-in votes.

Marshall has served on the Town of Stockbridge Board for the past four years. He has worked cooperatively with other councilors and on behalf of all the residents of Stockbridge, according to a press release on his campaign. Marshall is actively campaigning and would like to retain his seat on the town board so that the work that he and others started can continue.

He is a lifelong resident of the town and has farmed all his life. Marshall says he is very familiar with the needs of the town residents. He looks to the future to keep Stockbridge a great small town.

During his tenure on the board, he has addressed issues such as responsible budgets, future development, and safety issues.

“Whether you vote in person on November 2, participate in early voting, or vote by absentee ballot, find the column for Town Council and write in Fred Marshall's name in the space provided for ‘Write-ins,'” as stated in a campaign press release.
