KEVIN J. HATCH
SHERRILL- Kevin J. Hatch, 60, Ross Terrace, died Monday evening, October 25, 2021, in the Oneida Healthcare, from complications afáicted by schizophrenia and dementia.
Born in Oneida, on November 2, 1960, he was the son of Stanley H. and Doris Snyder Hatch. A lifelong resident of this area, Kevin was a graduate of Oneida High school,
Class of 1979.
Kevin was employed in the produce department of Price Chopper Supermarket in Oneida and previously had been employed at the former Smith’s Supermarket in Chittenango and Walmart Superstore as the produce manager. He loved all sports, especially Syracuse University, fast cars and motorcycles. He also enjoyed detailing automobiles and especially his family and the gatherings. Kevin was of the Christian faith.
Surviving are his sisters, Sharon (Clifford) Wittman and Cindy (Dennis) Tormey, all of Sherrill; his brother, Stanley (Joy) Hatch of Ontario; his sisterin-law, Rose Hatch of Sherrill; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Janet Candee in 2020 and three brothers, William G. Hatch in 1991, Richard Hatch in 1994 and Ronald L. Hatch in 2018. The family extends thanks and appreciation to the PROS Clinic for the kindness and support during Kevin’s illness.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Sunday from the Campbell-dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main
Street, Oneida. Interment will be made 10 AM, Monday in Valley View Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, 2-4 PM, Sunday, prior to the service.
Contributions, in his memory, may be made to CNY Alzheimer’s Association Support Group for Dementia.
