Its Take-out Pancake Dinner on Tuesday, March 29. The menu will also include sausage, bacon, syrup, and fruit. Dinners will be available for $10from 4- 7p.m. or until sold out. Proceeds will benefit Lutheran World Relief’s work in Ukraine and St. Peter’s cross garden. Please call ahead to the church office at (315) 363-5211 or email office@ stpetersverona.org to reserve your time slot for pickup. Call when you arrive and your dinners will be brought out to your car. Reservations are helpful, but not required. St. Peter’s Lutheran Church is located at 4897Old Oneida Road in Verona, right off Route 365at either Tilden Hill Road or Blackmans Corners Road.
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 30 Women of Cazenovia; At 7:00 p.m., Cazenovia Heritage will host a special presentation entitled “Women of Cazenovia and Madison County” by , Madison County Historian Matthew Urtz at the First Presbyterian Church Meeting House in Cazenovia. Urtz will talk about some of the most prominent women in the history of Madison County and Cazenovia and how they impacted their local communities, NYS, and the United States. Women in Construction: Empowered Pathways is offering the opportunity for women to learn about job opportunities and the trades on March 30from 12:302:00p.m. at 201Lafayette Street, Utica NY 13502. This free event, sponsored by W.I.C. (Women in Construction) will feature a panel of women who have enjoyed successful careers in the trades and will include laborers, carpenters, pipefitters/plumbers, and operators. The panel members, all experts in their respective fields, will share their journey to success and offer insight for women considering this occupation. The event is hybrid and can be attended in person or virtually. The event will include lunch for those attending in person, and the panel will address questions from attendees. Bottle and Can Drive: Holy Cross Academy will be running a bottle/ can return drive through April 8. All proceeds will benefit the HCA Student Council. Returnable cans and bottles may be dropped off during office hours 9a.m.-2:30p.m. HCA is located at 4020Barrington Rd., Oneida.
