Local school budget, BOE vote results
Results from local school districts were tallied Tuesday, May 17. The results are as follows: Oneida
Voters approved the 2022-2023 budget 27478. The budget totals $49,445,203. They also approved the bus proposition 289-61. The district will lease nine school buses for up to five years at a cost of $202,000.
Voters elected two board of education members. Mark Barbano received 321 votes and Nadine Flynn was also elected with 305 votes.

The VVS 2022-2023 budget passed with 75 percent of the vote, 335-110. The budget totals $43,218,941.
Voters elected three board candidates for three available board seats: Steven Adams had 385 votes, Jenna
Boice had 375 votes and Matthew Cole had 357 votes. Stockbridge Valley Voters approved the 2022-23 school budget 93-22. The budget will be $12,233,610, including a 1.96 percent tax levy increase.
Voters approved the Capital Reserve Fund 9618. The fund is a total of $500,000 taken from the budget over a 20-year duration and will be used for construction and repair of school buildings.
The Board of Education filled two open seats. Doug Reed received 102 votes and Michael Gough received 99 votes.
