Cpl. Hannat Diaz Collazos is currently serving at U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground’s Veterinary Clinic.
At the YPG clinic Diaz Collazos provides prevention care, management, treatment, emergency, and routine surgical procedures for government owned animals like working dogs and also pets of active duty and retired military members of the community.
You can say she goes the extra mile or in her case the extra 200 miles. Capt. Jessica Martinoff tells that Diaz Collazos has been proving weekly support to another veterinary treatment facility
(VTF) in Phoenix Sunday through Thursday, “and still has the energy to perform her duties at YPG VTF diligently on Thursday when she returns.”
