MENU

Lime Fresh Mexican serves up the usual suspects— nachos, tacos, burritos, fajitas, salads, soups and guacamole. Lime Fresh serves an Americanized version of Mexican fare, so there’s a plethora of choices: Taco shells, for instance, come in corn or flour and hard or soft varieties. Most menu items cost less than $13. A few types of bottled beers are available.

ATMOSPHERE

Lime Fresh Mexican operates a national chain of casual eateries. The new location on Okeechobee Boulevard includes a large dining room and a few tables outside. You order at the counter, then serve yourself from the salsa bar and wait for your tacos and burritos to arrive. Lime Fresh also has locations on Northlake Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens and on State Road 7 west of Boca Raton.

OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

The fresh tor tilla chips were excellent, and we liked the fish tacos (one for $3.50 or three for $7.49).

Yes. The atmosphere is casual, choices are plentiful and prices are modest.
