Ex­pan­sive menu makes Yard House a pop­u­lar din­ing spot

There’s a lit­tle some­thing for every­body at Yard House, which boasts an ex­pan­sive “New Amer­i­can” menu that in­cludes more than 20 ap­pe­tiz­ers, plus burg­ers, steak, seafood, sand­wiches, sal­ads, pizza, ribs and many other en­trée op­tions. We also sam­pled an or­der of jam­bal­aya ($18.95) — good, but not as hot as my hus­band would have liked — and a chicken and av­o­cado sand­wich with fries ($12.75). For dessert, we chose a fresh­baked brownie topped with vanilla ice cream ($8.25). The brownie was served pip­ing hot, and was oh-so-choco­latey in the cen­ter. cient. Our ap­pe­tizer came out im­me­di­ately, and our meals fol­lowed soon af­ter­wards.

Yard House is a big, bustling restau­rant, and not the qui­etest place on a Satur­day night. But we had no trou­ble hold­ing a con­ver­sa­tion dur­ing our visit.
