A woman in the 500 blo ck of South­east 2 3rd Av­enue was en­ter­tain­ing a friend for din­ner. When the friend left, the woman dis­cov­ered her keys and her ve­hi­cle miss­ing. She told po­lice her ve­hi­cle was un­reg­is­tered. She could not pro­vide in­for­ma­tion about her friend.


A mo­tor­cy­clist speed­ing on High Ridge Road did not stop for po­lice when sig­naled to do so. In­stead, he con­tin­ued on un­til he hit a curb at Hy­poluxo Road and I-95. He was ar­rested, taken to a hos­pi­tal for mi­nor scrapes, then to the county jail.


A woman re­turned home from va­ca­tion to find a door open at her res­i­dence in the 800 block of South­west Fifth Court. It ap­peared some­one kicked in the door, leav­ing a dent in it. Noth­ing in­side the home was miss­ing or dis­turbed.


A $500 hedge trim­mer was taken from a ve­hi­cle in the first block of North­east 28th Court. The bur­glar broke the driver’s side win­dow.


Po­lice found am an in­side a con­struc­tion site in the 200 block of South Seacrest Boule­vard. In his pos­ses­sion were a sc ale, grinders, 15.5 grams of pot along with sev­eral small bags of pot. He was charged with pos­ses­sion of mar­i­juana with in­tent to sell and taken to the county jail Dur­ing a traf­fic stop in the 3800 block of North Congress Av­enue, a mo­torist was found in pos­ses­sion of 3.5 grams of heroin and 239 Xanax pills. She was ar­rested and taken to the county jail.


Two ju­ve­niles were found parked in a hand­i­ca­pac­ces­si­ble spot in Boyn­ton Lakes Park at 3:14 a.m. The youths, who were sweat­ing pro­fusely, were found in pos­ses­sion of gloves and flash­lights. Both were dressed in black. Po­lice sus­pected the two were plan­ning bur­glar­ies in the neigh­bor­hood. They were taken to the Ju­ve­nile As­sess­ment Cen­ter.
