RFK in the Land of Apartheid: A Ripple of Hope, 10-11 p.m., Wpbt-channel 2

The Palm Beach Post - TV Post - - Front Page -

In 1966, apartheid was firmly entrenched in South Africa. That was the year Robert F. Kennedy, then a U.S. senator from New York, visited South Africa to speak out against apartheid, meet with activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Chief Albert Luthuli, and inspire black and white opponents of apartheid to challenge the system. This documentary remembers that visit with archival footage and views of present-day South Africa.
