A 14-year-old resident at a nudist colony in Loxahatchee Groves was arrested Tuesday in connection with a Sunday stabbing that sent a woman to the hospital, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff ’s Office.

The teen, who the Palm Beach Post is not identifying because of his age, faces charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. During his first appearance in juvenile court, Judge James Martz ordered the teen be held until a mental health evaluation is complete. He is expected in court this afternoon.

The teen’s mother appeared in court on her son’s behalf but declined to speak with reporters after the hearing.

“Please take care of my baby,” she whimpered into the microphone as the hearing ended.

On Sunday, an 18-year-old woman who made a stop at Sunsport Gardens Naturist Resort, in the 14000 block of N Road, told investigators she was stabbed by a young man around 9:30 a.m.

Monday’s approval lets the team talk to retailers with “a level of certainty” regarding the layout and choosing what location in the center is best for what business, Langolf said.

Tenants could be signed as early as January. Langolf said he hopes to soon fifinalize a lease with a large” retail store that he described as the type of retailers seen in the Palm Beach Outlets and in the Boynton Beach area.

The development will be built in at least two phases, with the commercial coming fifirst. That could take about 18 months to fifinish. It will be about six months before the team presents a residential site plan.

Endelson asked for several special-exception requests. Some of those that were approved
