LAKE WORTH — In case you’ve been living under a rock the past few weeks, the upcoming Lake Worth Street Painting Festival is about to hit Lake and Lucerne avenues on Feb. 25 and 26.

You know what that means, right?

We’re not talking about all the fun you’ll have at what has arguably become the city’s most popular event. We’re referring to road closures and parking restrictions. Here’s all you need to know: Parking at the following locations will be temporarily prohibited from 6 a.m. Feb. 24 until the end of the festival at 10 p.m. Feb. 26.

■ J, K, L, M streets from 2nd Avenue North to 1st Avenue South.

Vehicles parked on these streets are subject to towing by the Palm Beach County Sheriff ’s Office, the city said.

Business owners are encouraged to have all deliveries made before 6 a.m. Feb. 24.

The Lake Worth (Robert Harris) Bridge will remain open during the festival. There will be detour signs in place to direct vehicle traffic to access the bridge. Anyone wanting access to the bridge from the south end will be detoured at 6th Avenue South then east bound to the bridge. Anyone wanting access to the bridge from the north end will be detoured at 10th Avenue North then eastbound to the bridge.
