A Port St. Lucie woman’s b l o o d - a l c o h o l l e ve l was twice the legal limit when she slammed her car into a light pole one morning in May and killed her passenger, recently released records show.

On Thursday, Judge Dina Keever ordered Munoz be held on a $27,000 bond and be placed on in-house arrest as she waits for trial. She will be allowed to care for her grandmother during her confinement, though she is forbidden to drive.
A witness told city police that Munoz was speeding at about 2 a.m. May 1 on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard heading toward the intersection with Okeechobee Boulevard. Dombrovski was hanging out the passenger window yelling and waving her arms, the witness said.
Munoz lost control of the car, which turned counterclockwise and into a cement light pole, the witness said.
When police arrived Dombrovski already had died. Munoz was unresponsive in the driver’s seat.
Police records show Munoz was driving at least 49 mph in a 40-mph zone.
Results of a blood test show Munoz had marijuana in her system, as well as drugs used as sedatives and anxiety medication.
