Will Power won the IndyCar Grand Prix on Saturday for his first victory of the season, leading 61 of 85 laps and holding off Scott Dixon by more than five seconds on Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s road course.

Power gave Team Penske its third straight win this season and third in a row on the 2.439-mile Indy road course. Power also won in 2015.

The drivers now switch to the speedway’s oval Monday to begin practice for the May 28 Indianapolis 500. A different driver has won each of the five races this season.

Ryan Hunter-Reay was third and defending champ Simon Pagenaud fourth.

Power started from the pole in a Chevrolet and surrendered the lead only twice — both after pit stops. He has 30 career victories. The race finished with no caution periods.

Formula One: Lewis Hamilton won the pole position ahead of Sebastian Vettel for today’s Spanish Grand Prix, restoring Mercedes’ dominance in qualifying. Hamilton gave Mercedes its 19th pole in 20 races, two weeks after F1 leader Vettel broke the run at the Russian GP in a 1-2 with Ferrari teammate Kimi Raikkonen.

Vettel was 0.051 of a second behind Hamilton on Saturday at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Wit h t wo wi ns i n f o ur races, Vettel has a 13-point advantage over Hamilton.

NASCAR Trucks: Cup Series regular Kyle Busch hopped into the No. 51 Toyota of his own Kyle Busch Motorsports and took advan- tage of leader Ben Rhodes’ engine trouble in the closing laps to take the checkered flag Friday night at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City.

R h o d e s , who c r a s h e d while jockeying for the lead on the final lap a year ago, opened a big lead Friday before a puff of white smoke came out of his truck with seven laps left. He failed to get his first career win. “We did everything right,” said Rhodes, who blamed debris that went through his radiator, “but Ben Rhodes has a curse on his back or something, because something always goes wrong.”
