GAME OF THRONES TRIVIA BOOSTS LITERACY

A Game of Thrones-themed cocktail party and literary game night at The Gardens Mall, 3101 PGA Blvd., aims to end illiteracy in Palm Beach County. It’s a reimagined version of the Literacy Coalition’s Great Grown-Up Spelling Bee.

The Grand Bee is scheduled to be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 2 in the Center Court. A $3,000 donation buys a table for six; a cocktail party with passed appetizers; a seated, three-course dinner with food from Brio’s, Cooper’s Hawk and P.F. Chang’s; and cocktails and s’mores at the new Park Avenue BBQ & Grille after the games.

The tables will play three rounds of trivia games, and each round ends with points and prizes. A grand prize will be awarded at the end.
