The Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County has named
Selena Smith
executive manager. Smith is principal of Quad S Solutions. She has held executive-level positions with companies and nonprofits including Roger Dean Stadium, Palm Beach Kennel Club, HomeSafe and Families First of Palm Beach County. Smith is a graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County and has served on numerous boards and committees such as the Executive Women of the Palm Beaches, the Western Business Alliance and the Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce. Smith is a councilwoman for the Village of Royal Palm Beach.
Palm Beach Dramaworks has announced two new board members. Stephen M. Rabb has senior corporate management and community service experience in providing business operations and human resources leadership. He worked for more than 33 years at Science Applications International Corporation, where he served as vice president for administration and human resources director before stepping into a senior executive management and development consultant positions. Before SAIC, Rabb was director of industrial relations at Computer Sciences Corporation and a management analyst at the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies. His community service activities include serving on the Armory Art Center Board of Directors for many years, including three years as president. He and his wife initiated and funded a hands-on arts program for Title 1 elementary school students. He also served for five years as well as a tutor in the Palm Beach County Adult Literacy Program. Rabb is a Phi Beta Kappa and cum laude graduate of Hunter College, and did his doctoral studies at Columbia University where he was a Columbia Fellow.
Marlene Silver has been active in community service for over 35 years. She served on the Memphis Federation, National Women’s Board, Memphis Jewish Foundation, Federation of South Palm Beach County, Jewish Women’s Foundation South Palm Beach and Jewish Women’s Foundation of Palm Beach, among others. She recently served as a board member for Stand With Us. Silver is a graduate of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Communications. She worked in radio news for The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and in media relations for the Royal Ontario Museum.
MEDICINE
Roberto J. Cubeddu has been appointed chairman of the Robert and Suzanne Tomsich Department of Cardiology in the Heart & Vascular Institute at Cleveland Clinic Florida. Cubeddu joined Cleveland Clinic Florida in 2015 as Section Head of Structural Heart Disease and Director of the Multidisciplinary Valve Clinic. As an interventional cardiologist, he specializes in structural and adult congenital heart disease. He received his medical degree from the Central University of Venezuela School of Medicine. Cubeddu completed his residency in internal medicine, was chief resident and completed a fellowship in cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami. He also completed fellowships in interventional cardiology and structural and adult congenital heart disease at Massachusetts General Hospital at Harvard School of Medicine in Boston. Cleveland Clinic has multiple locations in Wellington and West Palm Beach.

& Smith has opened an office in Wellington. The firm focuses on serious personal injury and wrongful death cases. The office is located at 12161 Ken Adams Way, Suite 110, in the Lake Wellington Professional Centre. Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith now has locations in West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Stuart and Wellington.

Eileen Penque has been given a DAISY Award. She was honored for her work ethic and for being a team player. Penque is a neonatal intensive care nurse at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
