Florida knocks off No. 11 Texas A&M
Florida built a 16-point halftime lead and upset No. 11 Texas A&M 83-66 in College Station, Texas.
Egor Koulechov scored 19 points for the Gators (10-4) and Keith Stone added 18. Jay Jay Chandler had 17 for the Aggies (11-3), who were missing three starters and lost their second straight.
■No. 5 Xavier 85, Butler 79: J.P. Macura scored 15 of his 20 points in the first half as the host Musketeers (151) earned their 10th consec- utive win. They’ve tied the school record for their best start. The Bulldogs are 12-4.
■ No. 18 Texas Tech 85, No. 10 Kansas 73: The Red Raiders (13-1) built an 11-point halftime lead and never trailed in beating the host Jayhawks (11-3).
■ No. 16 TCU 81, Baylor 78 (OT): Vladimir Brodziansky had 18 points, including the go-ahead 3-pointer in overtime, as visiting TCU (13-1) bounced back from its first loss while losing a double-digit lead in the second half. Jo Lual-Acuil Jr. scored 28 for the Bears (10-4).
■ Auburn 94, No. 23 Tennessee 84: Bryce Brown and Jared Harper each scored 18 points for the visiting Tigers (13-1), who won their 11th straight game. Lamonte Turner scored 25 for the Vols (9-4), who dropped their second in a row.
■Mississippi State 78, No. 22 Arkansas 75: Nick Weatherspoon scored 22 points, his brother Quinndary Weatherspoon added 22 as the Bulldogds (13-1) rallied at home in the second half to beat the Razorbacks (11-3).

Hockey: Kieffer Bellows scored his second goal with 7:29 left in the third period and the United States defeated Russia 3-2 in a world junior quarterfinal in Buffalo, N.Y. Kailer Yamamoto also had a goal, Joey Anderson added an empty-netter and Joseph Woll made 27 saves for the defending champion Americans, who play Sweden in Thursday’s semifinals. The Czech Republic and Canada meet in the other semifinal.
