Ready to rock out on a South Florida Sunday?

The 2018 Sunshine Music Festival is here to fulfill that wish.

Held at the Mizner Amphitheater, this show will feature a plethora of amazing musical acts.

Kicking off the show will be the award-winning 10-piece group The Suffers.

With guitars, bass, percussion, a horn section and Kam Franklin’s soaring vocals, they have redefined Gulf Coast Soul.

Next up, Foundation of Funk: Zigaboo Modeliste and George Porter Jr., Eric Krasno and John Medeski will carry on the funk and

jam tradition and pay homage to The Meters.

Following them, Medeski, Martin & Wood will stretch the musical boundaries

through their amalgam of jazz, funk, “avant-noise” and a million other musical currents and impulses.

Don’t think you can take any more great music? Well, too bad.

Hold on tight as veterans Galactic take the stage.

This New Orleans-based band has been pushing and exploring musical boundaries for over 20 years.

Phish bassist Mike Gordon is up next and is bringing the goods. Together with guitarist Scott Murawski, Robert Walter on organ, drummer John Kimock and percussionist Craig Meyers, Gordon will offer up a high-energy, jumparound-the-stage show.

Hot Tuna will keep the party going. Once a Jefferson Airplane side project, this band will keep concertgoers in the groove with their well-honed experience and inspiration.

For the grand finale, the Tedeschi Trucks Band will send the entire experience into overdrive.

Started in 2010, the band has grown to over a dozen members and slowly built a following through relentless touring, appearing on shows hosted by Jay Leno, Conan O’Brien and Stephen Colbert and playing with legendary musicians Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan and Carlos Santana.
