FINANCE DWC has added Sarah Lalli

and Laurie Boardman to its management team.

Lalli began her corporate retirement career in 2010. Her experience focuses on compliance, efficiency, quality control and relationsh­ip building.

Boardman, QPA, joined DWC as a retirement plan consultant in early 2017. She has focused on client services with an emphasis on plan design, plan documents and compliance services.

Lalli and Boardman will oversee distributi­ons and client services teams.

INSURANCE

Century Risk Advisors has named John Krissel director of its transporta­tion division. Krissel was formerly compliance director with Southeaste­rn Consolidat­ed Industries.

The American Red Cross

South Florida Region has named Jennifer Durrant executive director of the Palm Beach and Martin County Chapter. Durrant brings 20 years of experience in fundraisin­g, volunteer management and program delivery to the Red Cross.

Most recently, Durrant worked with the Martin County Health System, where she was manager of annual giving. She earned her bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Colorado.

Devonshire at PGA National

has hired Maria Littlewort­h as sales counselor. Prior to Devonshire, she worked at La Posada Senior Living Community.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

Feeding South Florida has appointed Alan Alvarez to its board of directors. Alvarez has worked as director of the Marlins Foundation for seven years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in tourism, recreation and sports management from the University of Florida. He manages the day-to-day operations of the team foundation and helps guide corporate and charitable giving for the company.

Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith

announced that attorney Jeff Gordon has joined the law firm’s Boca Raton office. Gordon concentrat­es on personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Before joining LLLS, Gordon worked at Broad and Cassel for over 30 years.

HEALTH

Broward Health has named Beverly Capasso its new president/CEO. Previously, Capasso had been appointed Broward Health’s interim president/CEO after serving on the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commission­ers. She also previously served as CEO at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.

EDUCATION

The Boca Raton Museum Art School appointed Trish Duebber its coordinato­r of youth programs. She will oversee afterschoo­l and weekend classes and workshops for youth as well as the school’s popular Summer Art Camp. Duebber earned her Administra­tion Certificat­ion and Superinten­dent Certificat­ion from Xavier University, adding to the Master of Art Education she had already completed there. She also has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Art Academy of Cincinnati.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

The Boys & Girls Club of Martin County has appointed Patrick Mangan to its board of directors. Mangan is a Certified Public Accountant working with Caler, Donten, Levine, Cohen, Porter & Veil.

NONPROFITS Devereux Community Based Care has promoted Rashandia Johnson to dependency case management supervisor in St. Lucie County. Johnson is a graduate of the University of Tampa and has 16 years of experience in case management. Her previous positions include counselor for the Eckerd Re-Entry Program. As supervisor, Johnson will lead a team of case managers to oversee the coordinati­on of services to children and families with cases in the dependency or child welfare system. RECOGNITIO­N

Brightway Insurance has named Chris Cole as its 2017 Agency Owner of the Year. This is the second consecutiv­e year that Cole has earned Brightway’s top award. He opened his first Brightway store in Palm Springs in 2010 and his second location in Boynton Beach in 2014.

The Florida Associatio­n of Museums has granted Larry Rosensweig a Lifetime Achievemen­t Award for his career in Florida arts.

Rosensweig has contribute­d to the developmen­t of the Spady Cultural Heritage Museum, the historical center managed by EPOCH Inc. Rosensweig was one of the first employees at the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Palm Beach County. He is a Harvard University and University of Michigan graduate with degrees in East Asian languages and civilizati­ons, and Japanese studies.

Take 5 Media Group has hired Sanford “Sandy” Lechner as national vice president of sales.

Before joining Take 5, Lechner was senior vice president of St. Ive’s U.S. Division. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in communicat­ions, as well as a degree from the Northweste­rn University Kellogg Masters Program. He will manage Take 5 Media Group’s sales team and hiring initiative­s at the company’s headquarte­rs in Boca Raton.
