Last day for tickets for Flavors festival

- By Kristina Webb Palm Beach Post Staff Writer

With a hearty stock of exhibitors and a celebrity chair with a history of culinary success, the 15th annual Flavors of Wellington Food and Wine Festival arrives this week.

The foodie affair, one of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce’s signature events, is 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center.

The chamber has only 1,000 tickets for the event priced at $35 for individuals or $55 for couples. Those tickets are going fast, officials have said. Sales end at midnight today, with no entry available at the gate, the chamber said.

Serving as celebrity chair is chef Clayton Carnes, formerly of The Grille restaurant and now the owner and chef behind Cholo Soy Cocina in West Palm Beach.

Carnes, who won Food Network’s “Cutthroat Kitchen: Time Warp” in 2016, has studied French and Italian cuisines and brings an eclectic palate to his dishes.

Flavors features dinner by the bite, with tiny portions offered up by some of the area’s top restaurants. Exhibitors include:
