Suburban West Palm couple accused of drug trafficking from their home
WEST PALM BEACH — A suburban West Palm Beach couple landed in the Palm Beach County Jail after a search warrant carried out by the Palm Beach County Sheriff ’s Office found they were selling drugs, including heroin, amphetamines and Roxicodone, from their apartment, according to an arrest report.
Tijuan Lanier, 40, is facing several drug charges, including trafficking heroin and oxycodone and is being held on $169,000 bail.
Janet Lamper Malardo, 49, is facing the same drug trafficking charges and is being held on $52,000 bail.
Lanier and Malardo are also accused of trafficking drugs with a minor present. Malardo faces a separate charge of child abuse. The relationship between the child, who is not identified, and Lanier or Malardo is not described in the report.
The Florida Department of Children and Families was notified about the child, the report said.
The search warrant was served at about 1 p.m. Tuesday. The address where the warrant was served is blacked out in the arrest report, but jail records show Lanier and Malardo live on the 800 block of Cotton Bay Drive East, in the Turtle Cove apartments east of South Military Trail and south of Southern Boulevard.
After the residence was searched, a woman showed up at the home and asked for Lanier. She told deputies she had $1,500 and was looking to buy 50 Roxico- done pills.
The wo m an s aid the cash was not hers and she was a “runner,” picking up drugs for another person. The $1,500 was seized, the report said. The woman was not arrested.
