Monroe’s of Palm Beach temporarily closed April 17 after a state inspector spotted dozens of rodent droppings in the kitchen.

The inspector counted 37 droppings in and around a box of pasta, according to a report by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. The inspector also reported droppings “too many to count under wire rack shelves.”

An employee who answered the phone Tuesday at Monroe’s of Palm Beach said the kitchen reopened the day of the inspection.

The strip club at 1000 N. Congress Ave. near West Palm Beach touts a high-end menu. Steaks are priced at $44 to $71.
