Adrian Alfonso, CPA for Kaufman Rossin, has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott as chairman of the Florida Early Learning Advisory Council (ELAC). Alfonso is a tax director at Kaufman Rossin and manages engagements for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates and trusts. He represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service, Florida Department of Revenue and other state agencies, and performs tax research and planning for clients on federal and state issues. In addition, he supervises personnel on various tax engagements and offers tax consulting and advisory services. Alfonso is also a member of the Christopher Columbus High School Advisory Board, serving on the executive and finance committee.
