Two teenage boys, hungry for discovery, form an unlikely friendship with a mysterious older adventurer (Simon Baker) who pushes them to take risks that will have a lasting and profound impact on their lives. FIRST REFORMED: The priest (Ethan Hawke) of a small congregati­on in upstate New York grapples with mounting despair brought on by tragedy, worldly concerns and a tormented past. HOTEL ARTEMIS: As rioting rocks Los Angeles in the year 2028, disgruntle­d thieves make their way to Hotel Artemis — a 13-story, members-only hospital for criminals. It’s operated by the Nurse (Jodie Foster), a nononsense, high-tech healer who already has her hands full with a French assassin, an arms dealer and an injured cop. As the violence of the night continues, the Nurse must decide whether to break her own rules and confront what she’s worked so hard to avoid. R. 1 hour, 37 minutes.

ON CHESIL BEACH: Based on Ian McEwan’s novel. In 1962 England, a young couple find their idyllic romance colliding with issues of sexual freedom and societal pressure, leading to an awkward and fateful wedding night. R. 1 hour, 50 minutes. SOLLERS POINT: Keith (McCaul Lombardi), a small-time drug dealer under house arrest at the home of his father (Jim Belushi) in Baltimore, re-enters a community scarred by unemployme­nt, neglect and deeply entrenched segregatio­n. (Johnny Knoxville) is the crackpot owner of Action Point — a low-rent, out-ofcontrol amusement park where the rides are designed with minimum safety for maximum fun. BECOMING WHO I WAS: After a Buddhist boy in the highlands of northern India discovers that he is the reincarnat­ion of a centuries-old Tibetan monk, his godfather takes him on a journey to discover his past. BOOK CLUB: Diane (Diane Keaton) is recently widowed after 40 years of marriage; Vivian (Jane Fonda) enjoys her men with no strings attached; Sharon (Candice Bergen) is still working through her decades-old divorce; and Carol’s (Mary Steenburge­n) marriage is in a slump after 35 years. KEEP THE CHANGE: When aspiring filmmaker David is mandated by a judge to attend a social program at the Jewish Community Center, he is sure of one thing: he doesn’t belong there. But when he’s assigned to visit the Brooklyn Bridge with the vivacious Sarah, sparks fly and his conviction­s are tested. After unjustly firing Kate, Leonardo falls off the boat and wakes up with no memory. To get payback, Kate shows up at the hospital and convinces the confused amnesiac that they’re married.
