Wanted, Needed: Daddyators!
Father’s Day is near. A good, godly Dad’s value cannot be overestimated. Ask someone who has one, or someone who doesn’t! What’s a Daddyator? He’s like a gladiator fighting for his family. His #1 skill? Loving leadership, enabling his kids to enjoy life God’s way. Scripture speaks! Fathers, do not exasperate [provoke to anger] your children; instead bring them up in the training [discipline] and instruction of the Lord. Loving Leadership Skills: Don’t exasperate, provoke your kids to self-destructive anger. Causes of anger danger? Don’t show up, don’t care, don’t be fair, don’t do your share. Spending our time/ self on other people/priorities drives our kids away. God calls it sin. But God will help us. Be an example. Our moral character fortifies them. Walk the walk, leave some good footprints. Your example is greater than 10,000 words. God will help you. Explain life. Clarify the impact of choices/character in our confusing, compromising culture. Talk fears and tears, but also faith and a good future God’s way. Do you know the way? God will help you. Express yourself! Get them excited with your Vitamin E words of Encouragement. You didn’t get Vitamin E? OK, break the malnutrition chain! Silence isn’t golden, it tarnishes their life. Unleash your E words of beauty and duty today! God will help us. Go the extra mile. Because they matter, say/pray their name, needs to God every day. After you pray, lead the way. God will help you. God loves you and your family. Be a dedicated Daddyator, Pastor
