BOYNTON BEACH — A 16-yearold male is being charged as an adult for his role in a robbery turned high-speed chase from Boynton Beach to West Palm Beach last month, city police said.

Calvin Docilma, of Delray Beach, was booked Tuesday into the Palm Beach County Jail on charges of robbery with a weapon and resisting an officer without violence. No bail had been set as of Thursday morning.

Boynton Beach police also arrested Macken Mitulien and Aaron Louis, both 18 and originally from Fort Lauderdale, for the incident.

Authorities say the three teens were parked near the gate of the Bermuda Cay apartments at Woolbright Road and Federal Highway just after 3 a.m. May 13 when a resident arrived without his entrance pass.

The teens allegedly approached the man, insisting he try their “weed pen,” according to the report. As the victim inhaled their vaporizer with THC oil in it, Mitulien pointed a handgun at him and demanded money.

Docilma allegedly took the victim’s backpack as he got out of the car. Police said Mitulien held a gun at the victim while the others encouraged him to shoot.

The three left the apartments in a red Nissan and fled north on Federal Highway, over Hypoluxo Road and onto Interstate 95. Authorities ran the license plate and found the car had been stolen in Broward County, police said.

Police said they chased the teens at high speeds before the trio abandoned the car at Rosemary Avenue and Okeechobee Boulevard, near CityPlace. The three tried to run but were detained, according to the report.

Louis faces felony charges of robbery with a weapon, resisting an officer without violence, grand theft and being a delinquent in possession of a weapon. He also faces a criminal traffic charge of driving without a license. Mitulien faces felony charges of robbery with a weapon and fleeing or trying to elude police in a highspeed reckless chase. Both have been in jail without bail since their arrests in May.
