Three appointed VPs of Palm Beach Opera board

Opera Chairman Dennis K. Williams recently announced the appointmen­ts of three vice presidents to the board of directors for the company’s upcoming season.

“We are delighted to announce the appointmen­t of three new vice presidents to our board of directors, adding strength and experience to our growing board family,” said Dennis Williams. “Their profession­al expertise in these positions will reinforce the management team, and will allow Palm Beach Opera to continue its important mission of producing world-class operas and impactful community engagement programs in the area.”

The appointees are Jeffrey Alderton, Sanford Fisher and David Genser.

Alderton is a senior partner with Deloitte Consulting, and recently served as chairman of the American Heart Associatio­n’s Palm Beach Heart Ball.

Fisher, who was reappointe­d to the board of directors during the company’s 2017-2018 season, will now serve as another vice president of the board. He is the former CEO of Media Access Corporatio­n.

Genser will join Fisher and Alderton in the role of vice president. He is the owner of Genser Insurance, which specialize­s in fine arts and personal insurance worldwide.

“It’s always exciting to see members of our board of directors take on new roles and expand their commitment­s, contributi­ng to the company’s sustained growth and efforts to broaden our reach,” said General Director Daniel Biaggi. “We are very much looking forward to the 20182019 season together.”
