Impeach Kavanaugh; don’t promote him

Let me get this straight: then-President Bill Clinton lies under oath and gets impeached, Judge Brett Kavanaugh lies under oath and becomes a federal appeals court judge. Not only should his nomination for Supreme Court justice be withdrawn, he should be impeached.

In addition, Kavanaugh has taken the hypocritical position that a sitting president cannot be indicted and should be immune from criminal investigation — conveniently changing his stand while working to protect President George W. Bush, but after he and Independent Counsel Ken Starr went after Clinton.

Finally, his positions on Roe v. Wade and birth control are way out of the mainstream.

Kavanaugh may be a brilliant jurist but that does not make him fit for a lifetime position to the Supreme Court.
