Maybe Israel policy will work this time
Regarding “Trump policy will feed terrorist hatred” (Wednesday), at least the writer acknowledges they are terrorists.
Now, for why President Trump stopped the money we have been giving to UNRWA (a United Nations agency):
The Palestine Liberation Organization began as a terrorist organization but was allowed to open an office in Washington in 1994 after the Oslo accords produced hope for peace between the PLO and Israel. President Clinton brokered a generous and historic peace offer that, sadly, was not fulfilled as PLO leader Yasser Arafat walked away.
President Trump only withheld our $300 million portion of the UNRWA’s $1.24 billion budget to show that we will not support anti-Semitic textbooks and anti-Israel terrorism and teaching children to hate and kill Jews.
As nothing has worked to bring Palestine to the bargaining table, maybe this will do it.
