De­mo­li­tion to start Town Square project

De­mo­li­tion crews are ex­pected to start work on the new Town Square re­de­vel­op­ment project in the down­town area on Mon­day at 9:30 a.m.

The city man­ager, mayor and com­mis­sion­ers, as well as pri­vate and pub­lic part­ners in­clud­ing the Boyn­ton Beach Com­mu­nity Re­de­vel­op­ment Agency and E2L, will be don­ning hard hats and safety glasses and pick­ing up sledge­ham­mers as part of the first Town Square De­mo­li­tion Crew.

A new City Hall/Li­brary, am­phithe­ater, play area, open spa­ces, res­i­den­tial units and a garage will be built and are sched­uled to be com­pleted in early 2020.
