Tri-Rail offers $5 off Uber, taxi services at its stations
New subsidies lower, but available at more sites
BOYNTON BEACH – A grand jury in Okeechobee County has indicted a Central Florida man on a first-degree murder charge in the January disappearance and death of 74-year-old Palm Beach Gardens Lyft driver Gary Levin, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement announced Wednesday.
Authorities previously identified Mathew Scott Flores, 36, as a person of interest after Levin’s remains were discovered Feb. 4 in a wooded area of northern Okeechobee County, days after Levin’s family reported him missing.

Tri-Rail is now offering a $5 subsidy on Uber and taxi services at all of its train stations in Palm Beach and Broward counties.
The subsidy, available during Tri-Rail operating hours, is designed to make it easier for patrons to get to and from their destinations, according to spokesman Victor Garcia. A new Tri-Rail Uber voucher is available for download to be used during the Uber ride payment process.
The subsidy had been as much as $15 at certain stations but Garcia said the Tri-Rail board opted to lower the subsidy but make it available at the 13 stations between Mangonia and Hollywood.
