The state semifinals in all nine classes are set after Black Friday produced some of the most exciting finishes of the season.
Dunbar stunned Naples for the second consecutive season in the Region 4-3S championship, this time with a walkoff 95-yard kick return after the Eagles scored the go-ahead touchdown with 10 seconds left on the clock.
For the second time this season, Norland beat Central on a field goal in overtime. The Vikings end the Rockets' hopes of a record fifth consecutive state championship.
Gaither took Jesuit to overtime for the second time this season. The Cowboys came out on top 31-24, denying the Tigers a sixth consecutive state semifinal appearance.
Archbishop Carroll kicked a field goal as time expired to beat top-seeded True North Classical Academy 38-35. Clearwater Central Catholic, the 2022 Class 1M state runner-up, got a lastminute field goal and beat rival Carrollwood Day 45-41.
