Despite finishing with just one offensive touchdown Friday night, Spring-Ford opened up the 2018 regular season with a 21-0 non-conference win over Central Bucks South.

The Rams opened up the scoring during the first half when Nick Delromano blocked a punt and Noah Baker scooped it up and carried it 25 yards for the score.

A little bit later, senior Stephen Brill picked off a pass and took it all the way to the end zone to give Spring-Ford a 14-0 lead while the Rams’ stifling defense kept control of the game.

Then in the third quarter, Armante Haynes carried it in from 20 yards out to ice the game and make it 21-0.

Quarterback Ryan Engro and Brill both left the game due to injuries. Wide receiver Dante Bonanni took snaps behind center in place of Engro, who isn’t expected to miss much time.
