Annual Taste of Phoenixville to benefit homeless
PHOENIXVILLE >> Tickets are now available for the Taste of Phoenixville 2019, an annual event benefitting Good Samaritan Services, a local organization which provides temporary emergency, transitional and affordable permanent housing, and essential community resources to men, women, and children experiencing or at risk for homelessness in Chester and Lancaster counties.
Taste of Phoenixville 2019 takes place Jan. 17, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Franklin Commons in Phoenixville. The event features complimentary local beer, wine and spirits from Sly Fox, Root Down, and Bluebird Distillery, and creative cuisine from more than 25 local restaurants and caterers including Bistro on Bridge, Bridge Street Chocolate, Green Lion Bakery, Drexelbrook Catering, Heart Stone Coffee, Majolica, and Mom’s Place.
“This is our 17th annual Taste of Phoenixville, and year after year it continues to be a fantastic event that brings the community together in support of those experiencing homelessness,” said Christine Stoltzfus, events manager for Good Samaritan Services. “This year, we’re excited that the event is held at the beautiful, newly renovated Franklin Commons, where guests can sample the great food and spirits from remarkable local restaurants, breweries, and distilleries.”
Also featured are a variety of special items available for silent auction, sports memorabilia for purchase, a wine grab, and live music by Phoenixvillebased Hytha Family Band.
