Eighth-grader re­ceives pres­ti­gious Neu­mann Schol­ar­ship

St. Teresa of Cal­cutta School proudly con­grat­u­lates eighth-grade stu­dent, Ca­rina Es­co­bar, as a Neu­mann Scholar. Ca­rina was one of 15 stu­dents from St. Teresa to qual­ify and sit for the pres­ti­gious Neu­mann Schol­ar­ship test spon­sored by the Con­nelly Foun­da­tion. She was one of 40 stu­dents in the Arch­dio­cese of Philadel­phia who re­ceived a four-year schol­ar­ship to an Arch­dioce­san high school of her choice.
