PHOENIXVIL­LE 51, POTTSTOWN 24 >> On Alumni night, the Phantoms took down the Trojans thanks in part to pins from Owen Koch (145), Alex Washington (160), Dan Gray (220) and Mason Koch (113). Phoenixvil­le also benefitted from four forfeits.

The Pottstown victors were Justice Harris (decision at 195), Destyn Snyder (pin at 285), Kyleaf July (pin at 132) and Demond Thompson (decision at 138). POTTSGROVE 42, POPE JOHN

PAUL II 39 >> The Golden Panthers had the advantage in bouts contested while the Falcons benefitted from a four-forfeit advantage (6-2) to score a Pioneer Athletic Conference Frontier Division victory.

Charles Sithens’s first-period pin at 126 was Pottsgrove’s only match winner but it was enough when PJP’s Jacob Rau could only

decision Pottsgrove’s Noah Frye in the final fout and PJP trailing by six (42-36). PJP winners by pinfall were Nick Tongo (106), Matt Vulakh (120), Ryan Vulakh (160) and Matt Delciotto (170). SPRING-FORD 50, METHACTON 13 >> The Rams burst to a 16-0 lead and cruised to a PAC Liberty win over the Warriors.

Bonus point winners for Spring-Ford were Dominic Ortlip (pin at 106), Shane Reynolds (pin at 113), Quinn Tobin (major at 120), Aaron Judge (pine at 132), Zach Needles (technical fall at 145), Chase Smith (pin at 170) and Joey Milano (tech fall at 195). Methacton’s biggest winner was Roman Moser with a major at 160. PERKIOMEN VALLEY 58, NORRISTOWN 14 >> Jacob Sturm (182), Luke Ricci (106), Bret Sacks (113), PJ Kakos (126), Jacob Elalfi (145), Riley Kershaw (160) and Eric Jefferies (170) were pinfall winners to lead Perkiomen Valley past Norristown. Norristown got a pin from Tijear Brittingha­m (285) and tech fall from Isaiah Tucker (132).

Boys basketball

PERKIOMEN VALLEY 48,

OWEN J. ROBERTS 39 >> Tyler Strechay joined with Kameron Parks and Zach Krause to outscore the entire Wildcat lineup to give the Vikings victory in this PAC Liberty Division matchup.

Strechay had 17 points, followed by 14 from Parks and 11 from Krause. Ryan Sayers had a game-high 18 for Owen J., but he was Roberts’ lone double-figure performer.

Girls basketball

OWEN J. ROBERTS 46, PERKIOMEN VALLEY 45 >> She got to the foul line only one time Tuesday. But Diana Rantz made the most of her opportunit­y, coming up big for the Owen J. Roberts girls basketball team in its game with Perkiomen Valley.

Rantz, fouled at the end of the game, hit both shots

with no time left to overturn PV’s 45-44 lead. She finished with 11 points behind teammates Olivia LeClaire’s 15.

The Vikings’ offense was headed by an 11-point showing from Sara Nijssen and 10 from Gabby Marinacci. SPRING-FORD 70, NORRISTOWN 25 >> Lucy Olsen and Hailey Hudak headed a Ram lineup that got scoring from nine different players to roll over the Eagles in PAC Liberty Division play.

Olsen was the game’s scoring leader with 20 points, 12 of them coming from 3-point range. Hudak kicked in with another 10 to help Spring-Ford open a 30-3 lead in the first quarter. PHOENIXVIL­LE 49, UPPER

MERION 29 >> Ameerah Green bounced back from her lowest stat line of the season with one of her finest offensive games, keying the Phantoms’ victory over the Vikings in PAC Frontier Division play.

Green scored 29 points with five rebounds and three steals. Aubrie Breisblatt contribute­d nine points while Nai Green continued her dominance around the boards with 13 rebounds.

Boys swimming

SPRING-FORD 105, NORRISTOWN 46 >> Sam Ricci won two individual races to lead the Rams past the Eagles.

Ricci took the 200 IM (2:35.98) and diving (212.40 points) while swimming the anchor leg of SpringFord’s winning 200 free relay (1;56.30). Norristown’s lone individual winners were Mario Brown in the 200 free (2:25.16) and Alex Waskiewicz in the 100 breast (1;21.50). PHOENIXVIL­LE 93, PERKIOMEN VALLEY 93 >> The Phantoms swam all even with an opponent for the second time this season, tying the Vikings in their PAC meet.

Dylan Alexander was a two-event winner for PV, taking the 500 free (4:58.91) and the 200 free (1;51.35).

Girls swimming

SPRING-FORD 100, NORRISTOWN 55 >> Morgan Gamber, Kira Byers and Katie Parker each figured in on two wins by the Rams in their PAC meet with the Eagles.

Gamber won the 200 IM (2:58.00) while swimming a leg of Spring-Ford’s winning 20 medley relay (2;14.80). Byars, in turn, headed the 400 free (5:36.89) and swam on the 200 free relay (2:25.43) and Parker competed with the Rams’ winning relays. PHOENIXVIL­LE 113, PERKIOMEN VALLEY 72 >> First-place finishes by Sarah Ritter (50 free, 26.09), Erini Pappas (500 free, 5:27.60), Penelope Pappas (100 back, 1:05.08) and Sarah McCarthy (100 breast, 1:13.32) helped the Phantoms outswim the Vikings in their PAC meet.

Emily Hinz won two individual races for PV, the 200 IM (2:20.55) and the 100 fly (1:04.02).
