The Phantoms (7-1 Frontier, 7-5 PAC) locked up one of the Pioneer Athletic Conference’s six playoff spots with their 74-54 win over Upper Perkiomen on Tuesday.

While Steven Hamilton and Michael Memmo scored a combined 35 points to key the Phantoms in their PAC Frontier Division game over the Indians, Phoenixville manager Chris Romney’s late bucket was the highlight of the game, drawing a large celebration from the Phoenixville sideline.

Memmo’s 18-point effort put him one up on Hamilton’s 17. Will Allain also hit double figures for Phoenixville, netting 11, while Sean Boyle got a gamehigh 23 for UP.

A bigger long-distance shooting game made the difference for the Golden Panthers (8-0 Frontier, 10-2 PAC) in Tuesday’s narrow PAC Frontier Division game with the Trojans (4-4 Frontier, 5-7 PAC).

PJP sank seven 3-point baskets to Pottstown’s one, Drew McKeon getting nine of his 11 from the far side of the arc. Jaden Workman (14), Luke McCarthy (13) and David Smrek (11) also hit “threes” for PJP, which clinched a PAC playoff spot.

Pottstown got double-figure scoring from Robert Burress (17), Tre’ Bass (13) and Darius Smallwood (10).

Patrick Kovaleski paced the Rams in a PAC Liberty win over OJR on Tuesday. Tre Medearis and Tyler Scilingo added 13 apiece for SpringFord.

Gus Coroniti led OJR with 15, followed by 10 from Jalen Lucas.

Spring-Ford (5-3 Liberty, 9-3 PAC) can lock up a spot in the league postseason with a crossover win over Upper Merion on Thursday.
