Pottsgrove High School donates to hospital

-

The Cancer Center at Phoenixville Hospital recently received a $2,500 donation from Pottsgrove High School. The funds were raised by Pottsgrove’s Booster Club, Football, Boys Soccer, Volleyball and Cheerleading teams for the Cancer Center’s Patient Assistance Fund. Pottsgrove High School has been raising funds for patients of the Cancer Center for nine years, donating more than $10,000. Pottsgrove School Board member Patti Grimm, a former patient of the Cancer Center at Phoenixville Hospital, started the tradition of giving to the Patient Assistance Fund after experiencing firsthand the support it provides. Grimm has been cancer-free for 10 years. This photo shows hospital and school representatives at the check presentation.
