SUMMER CAMP EXPERIENCES IN AND AROUND POTTSTOWN
Here are a few camp locations that currently have registration open for their summer 2021offerings. Other locations, such as Greater Pottstown Tennis and Learning, Pottstown School District Summer Camps, Montgomery County Community College Day Camp and Pottstown Dance Theatre Dance Camp have yet to detail their 2021offerings online, so stay tuned to their websites below.
POTTSTOWN YMCA SUMMER CAMP
Ages: Kids of all ages
Learn, grow, stretch and explore at YMCA’s summer camp. They offer a variety of options for programming to keep your children engaged during their months off, from traditional camp and sports camp to arts camp and more. Overnight camp experiences are available at YMCA Camp Spears in the Poconos. Dragonfly Forest special needs camp is designed to enable children with special needs to have a traditional overnight camping experience along with providing medical accommodations for campers to allow them to be successful at camp.

ALTHOUSE ARBORETUM NATURE CAMP
Ages: Children grades K-4
All camps take place outdoors at the Althouse Arboretum’s 17-acre site preserved as open space by Upper Pottsgrove Township and converted into an outdoor learning center by the nonprofit GreenAllies.
It is complete with trails, outdoor classrooms and nature education sites. Your child will have a fun time outdoors doing activities that foster a better understanding of our natural world. Their camps offer fun ways to learn. Each week has a different theme with activities to match.

KIMBERTON WALDORF SCHOOL NATURE & FARM CAMP, PHOENIXVILLE
Ages: Rising 1st-grade to 6th-grade students (open to the public) and ages 2-5can attend Rosebud Garden Summer Sessions.
Kimberton Waldorf School’s nature camp offers active days filled with creek adventures, arts and crafts, creative play, picnics, woodland explorations, games, sports, and more. Their expansive 425-acre campus provides a wholesome environment where children can experience the wonders of nature and create memories to last a lifetime. Led by dedicated and talented counselors, who are faculty, students, staff, and alumni of Kimberton Waldorf School, their Nature and Farm Camp provides a unique balance of hands-on, teacher-led activities and supervised free play.
