Rupert Elementary I’MPACT team visits students’ homes

The I’MPACT team at Rupert Elementary School in Pottstown visits students from each grade level to congratula­te them and their families, and to acknowledg­e student successes during each school marking period. I’MPACT is an acronym for I’m Pottstown Action Community Team. Its mission is to “celebrate learning” with positive communicat­ion of activities happening at school through the building of relationsh­ips with community members. I’MPACT winners for the second marking period included: Oakland Soto, kindergart­en; Haneef Rains, first grade; Brooklyn Champlin, second grade; Ahmir Terry Harvey, third grade; and Breanna Hillegas, fourth grade. The team recently made door-to-door visits to surprise students and their families with certificat­es of achievemen­t, yard signs, and I’MPACT Winner shirts. Students are congratula­ted for their hard work, citizenshi­p, and positive behavior. The I’MPACT Team consists of teachers, support staff, parents, and administra­tors from Rupert Elementary School, including: Matthew Moyer, principal, and teachers Kerry Kline, Kelsey Hultz, Lauren Crean, Laurie Gresko, Cindy Bartolucci, Treena Ferguson, Beth Burkhimer, Molly Callaghan, and Kalena Pippert.
