District mask mandate unevenly applied
In what some are calling a sign of inconsistency or hypocrisy, a basketball playoff game at Spring-Ford High School was allowed to go on despite lessthan-optimal mask wearing in the audience on the same night a school board meeting was halted when members of the audience refused to wear masks.
The matter was raised that night, and subsequently on social media, by those who objected to Feb. 22’s abrupt adjournment of the school board meeting at which the conditions under which Spring-Ford’s mask mandate would be lifted was on the agenda for discussion.
