PHOENIXVILLE » St. Patrick’s Day turned out to be extra special for the seniors at Woodbridge Place this year, as McGough Academy of Irish Dance surprised the community with an afternoon of song and dance.

Livvy Shakelette, a Miss America Outstanding Teen hopeful, among other shining stars at McGough Academy, delighted the residents with a glimpse into traditional Irish culture.

In addition to the celebration dedicated to the holiday, Woodbridge Place spotlighted three of its residents that share the same birthday with Phoenixville’s favorite day of the year.

To make the day even luckier, Shakelette also celebrated her 13th birthday with the community, allowing the Personal & Memory Care residents to sing her the sweetest song of the day.
