Cellists to perform with Providence Chamber Orchestra on May 1
PHOENIXVILLE » Internationally acclaimed cellists Noelle Casella Grand and John Koen will perform with the Providence Chamber Orchestra on Sunday, May 1, in a concert of music by Vivaldi, Offenbach, Delius, and Britten.
This free concert begins at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 355 St. John’s Circle, Phoenixville. A goodwill offering will be taken to support the continuing programs of the Providence
Chamber Orchestra. Masking is not required but is recommended.
A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in London, American-born cellist Noelle Casella Grand has been praised for her “wonderful rich tone” and her “finely nuanced playing.” Equally at home on the concert platform and in the classroom, Grand enjoys an active career encompassing both performing and teaching throughout Europe and the United States.
