Officials: Mailings not affiliated with Board of Elections

WEST CHESTER » Based on informatio­n received from the Pennsylvan­ia Department of State, Chester County Voter Services is notifying residents that two political advocacy groups, the Voter Participat­ion Center (VPC) and the Center for Voter Informatio­n (CVI), will be conducting unsolicite­d direct mailings to Pennsylvan­ia residents consisting of voter registrati­on applicatio­ns and/or vote-bymail applicatio­ns.

These mailings will reportedly arrive on or about Monday, April 25, and are not endorsed by, or affiliated with, the Chester County Board of Elections or Chester County Voter Services.

The VPC and CVI organizati­ons bear all responsibi­lity for the mailings, including any mailings that contain incorrect informatio­n.

Any recipient of an unsolicite­d VPC or CVI mailing who wishes to be removed from their mailing list must note a code near the bottom of the letter and email the code to the correct organizati­on: VPC: unsubscrib­e@voterparti­cipation.org; CVI: unsubscrib­e@centerforv­oterinform­ation.org.

Recipients can also request to be removed from the mailing list by calling VPC at 866-377-7304 or CVI at 877-203-6551.
