Auto Maintenance 101
Phoenixville Public Library will host a free presentation “Auto Maintenance 101” on Monday, March 20, at 6:30 PM. Paul Celentano will be the speaker. Join us for this general introduction to the major systems in the modern automobile, how they work, how to maintain them, and what problems to check for before they become problems to open the checkbook for! This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required at https://ccls.libcal.com/calendar/Phoenixville/automaintenance or by calling 610-933-3013 x132. For more information, email Mark Pinto at mpinto@ccls.org. Phoenixville Public Library is located at 183 Second Avenue, Phoenixville.
Daytime Book Club
Phoenixville Public Library’s Daytime Book Club for adults will meet at the Library on Wednesday, March 22, at 1:00 PM. The group will discuss Megan Angelo’s acclaimed novel, Followers. Orla Cadden is a budding novelist stuck in a dead-end job, writing clickbait about movie-star hookups and influencer yoga moves. Then Orla meets Floss — a striving, wannabe A-lister — who comes up with a plan for launching them both into the high-profile lives they dream about. So what if Orla and Floss’s methods are a little shady — and sometimes people get hurt? Their legions of followers can’t be wrong. Thirty-five years later, in a closed California village where government-appointed celebrities live every moment of the day on camera, a woman named Marlow discovers a shattering secret about her past. Book copies may be reserved at https://chesp. na.iiivega.com. eBook and eAudiobook copies may be reserved at https://chester. overdrive.com. This event is free and open to the public. No registration required. For more information, email Mark Pinto at mpinto@ccls. org
