Learning Express Toys of Collegeville and Blue Bell has announced its 2023 Holiday Toy Drive, in partnership with the Daily Bread Community Food Pantry, aimed at bringing joy and gifts to children in need within the local community.

To kick off this charitable initiative, Learning Express Toys has donated $20,000 worth of toys to the Daily Bread Community Food Pantry, the largest donation the store has ever made.

Collegeville Italian Bakery Pizzeria Napoletana, 3846 Ridge Pike, Collegeville, is accepting donations of toys and non-perishable food during the week and at the store next door during weekends.

The Holiday Toy Drive will run through Dec. 18, and the community is encouraged to participate by dropping off or purchasing new, unwrapped toys at either of the Learning Express Toys locations in Collegeville, 160 Market St.; or Blue Bell, 1301 Skippack Pike, or simply participate by donating change at the register.

“We are thrilled to once again team up with the Daily Bread Community Food Pantry for our annual Holiday Toy Drive,” Caroline and Rich Brant, owners of Learning Express Toys of Collegeville and Blue Bell, said in a press release.

“At Learning Express, we believe in giving back to the community that has supported us, and we are proud to contribute to the joy and happiness of local children during the holiday season,” they said.

The Daily Bread Community Food Pantry serves as a resource for families in need, providing essential groceries and support

throughout the year. The addition of toys to their offerings during the holiday season brings an extra layer of assistance to the families they serve.

“We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of Learning Express Toys,” said Loretta Stever,

executive director of the Daily Bread Community Food Pantry. “Their generous donation of $20,000 worth of toys is a testament to their commitment to our community. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of local children and families during this

special time of year.”
